051: Building Our Cities, One Recycled Shipping Container at a Time with Paul Galvin of SG Blocks

Today we are joined by Paul Galvin, Chairman and CEO of SG Blocks, a premier designer, innovator and fabricator of container-based structures. Paul’s professional background includes developing housing projects for those in need and he continues this work through SG Blocks which has recently secured two low-income housing development projects in New York State representing the largest project awards in company history. They also recently partnered with Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) to create the first container-based community center in L.A. HOLA currently serves more than 2,300 children and families and this project will expand its capacity by 74 percent.
